The Ups In A Down Year: 2020 Review

PHEW, what a year. We’re sure you’ve seen that about 100 times the past few days but we honestly can’t believe we’ve made it through. It’s been tough on everyone with small businesses. We are SO thankful we haven’t ended up on this list of fellow restaurant owners and our heart breaks for them along with the world that’s struggling through all of this mess.

We are incredibly thankful for all of you, our sandwich lovers, who have supported us throughout the highs and lows of 2020. There’s a lot of uncertainty still, but one things for sure - we have hope that this start of a new year can renew our spirits and continuously remind us that our community is the BEST from coast to coast.

Let’s recap some of the most memorable moments of 2020:

We were fortunate enough to keep our teams busy while we were closed to the public by making hundred of meals every day to feed BIW workers.

All of YOU rallied with Sister Michaela from coast to coast to raise over $10,000 for Black Lives Matter!

Big weddings turned to backyard gatherings and we are so thankful we could be a part of some of your special days with small catering orders for beautiful couples.

Bath and Portland sandwich lovers helped us donate HUGE bags of warm weather clothing items to those in need this past December.

You all sent us words of encouragement, positive feedback and SO. MUCH. LOVE. during the hardest times this year. We appreciate you all more than you’ll ever know.

In a year as wild as 2020, we are looking forward to this promise of a fresh start. We hope everyone has a safe and happy start to 2021, and we can’t wait to continue to serve you.
